Fractal Nouns is a governance research initiative working within the Nouns ecosystem to explore how decentralized governance can scale without reverting to centralized power.
Rather than promoting a single governance model, we focus on experimentation, infrastructure, and shared standards. Our work investigates how autonomous communities can remain representative, coordinate across boundaries, and make better decisions as they grow.
This site collects our core documents—each addressing a different layer of the problem, from first principles to technical implementation.
Each document stands on its own, but together they describe an evolving body of work. Fractal Nouns is a living project—open to critique, iteration, and collaboration.
